Thread: Tardy report for Guntersville Lake 2/12

Sorry for the late post but I had a little technical hold up.

We got on North Sauty for a couple of hours on Friday and fished the community hole a while. The bite was real slow. We did manage to catch about 25 but most were small. We kept 10 as shown in the picture. All the crappie were caught on BG baits on a double rig, Blue ice combined with Watermelon Wine. I typically use two 1/32 oz heads. The fish were from 6 to 8 feet and wanted it slow.

I also managed to catch one "trash" fish as pictured. It was funny since the place was covered up with bass boats and I heard one guy behind me say, "don't tell me you caught that on a crappie bait." I hollered back that I didn't catch it; it caught me.

Good job! You should have put the Green Carp in the live well for a little while just to give the Bass fisherman a heart attack, LOL!
