    Default North shore fishing report

    at the T funky.

Great day on the water. Perfect conditions. Blue sky, gale force winds, rising barometer, muddy water.

Water is the lowest that I can remember. Just a few weeks ago I fished the river when the pier in the photo was almost under water. Which is good for locating structure for future reference. I don't use electronics. Old school, just like the challenge of figuring em out.

Caught fish tightline with a mardi gras hair and a black, green, and chart tube on 1/16 jig head.

Probably kept a dozen or two.. With half off em good river slabs. Must of caught 20 throw backs out of one spot.

Kept my feet dry launching but got em wet getting out. Water probably fell a little more during the afternoon.

Nice catch, most of us still have trouble "figuring them out" even with lectronics.
