Buy a used xducer and mount it on the 2nd TM, then just plug in the right xducer cord for the TM being used.

Guys, I recently purchased a Minnkota Maxxum cable steer trolling motor for usage in certain fishing situations. I already had a Terrova which is currently on my boat. I am trying to figure out a way to quickly change the transducer from trolling motor to trolling motor. Is there a way that I can purchase an extra transducer and have a quick connect option to my Humminbird 788? The current transducer has the cord routed through the front deck of the boat and the connector is secured to my 788 mounting bracket so that all I have to do is snap the fishfinder to the mounting bracket. I am hoping that there is a transducer extension cable where I can hook the cable that comes with the transducer to the extension which I can have permanently connected to the mounting device for the fishfinder.
I have my current transducer cable routed and glued through the internal groove of my Terrova so that I could avoid having the cord dangling loose. I realize that I could use the same transducer which would require me to swap it over to the trolling motor that I plan to use for the day. However, this would require that reroute the transducer cord from the internal groove of my Terrova.
Buy a used xducer and mount it on the 2nd TM, then just plug in the right xducer cord for the TM being used.
GO BIG ORANGE !
I meant to behave, but there were just way too many other options available at the time.
There is an extension and I agree buy another transducer. I would have used Us2 on one or both of the motors.
