You need an Ethernet to connect the two HDS units if they're not already. Then you need the NMEA 2000 for them to talk to the Xi5. If you've already got NMEA 2000 in your boat, then all you need is an Xi5 with GPS and a T for the NMEA 2000 and a NMEA 2000 cable to go to TM.
All this talk sounds pretty complicated to this old geezer! I find what I want with my Garmins and hit the anchor button. Done!
p.s. I got the rebate when I bought mine and when I bought my Garmins. Every $$ helps.

I'm with you on that complicated part. We run Garmin's also just a little difference in anchoring system's. I have a 25 pounder in the front and a 25 pounder in the back both on 100 ft ropes.

I have run Bobbys boat on a slow speed with his XI5 deployed. If I see something good I want to fish on his down scan, I hit the anchor mode button on the XI5 remote hanging around my neck. Stick the boat in neutral and kill the big motor and the XI5 will take us back to the spot I hit the anchor mode button. One does not need to connect to their Lowrance HDS.
