    Default Harris 2/6

Went out to Harris w/ my buddy in our kayaks today. Water was stained and had debris. Marked tons of fish and huge bait balls in 30-40 FOW but nothing wanted to play. Searched around for the rest of the day and only managed a few small perch. The spot I started at in the morning was very popular by 10am but I didn't see any boats doing better.

I heard yesterday was very difficult on Harris. Several folks were out there pre-fishing next weeks tournament.

Shane and I were out there yesterday as well. Tough for us as we only caught a few crappie as well. Depth finder looked like it was in demo mode all day. Screen full of fish and bait but lockjaw I guess.

Yesterday afternoon was tough. Managed 7 or 8 from 3pm till around 6. Same thing, marked a lot of fish but just short of using TNT couldn't get them in the boat this time. But today was much better. Went to Harris around 1 and fished till roughly 6:30. Once I got out of the wind, ended up catching 37 in 33 to 42' of water. Nothing really of any size. Mostly the smaller males with just a couple fat females thrown in. Took a while to get thru the white perch too. Caught a ton of big perch. All crappie were released for next Saturday.
