Thread: Norman 2-6. Tournament day

What a difference a day makes. the wind was not howling, and it was almost pleasant out.

Problem is the fish were not where we caught them yesterday. Did a lot of running and gunning in the middle of the tournament AND weekend crowd.

around 9:30AM we picked up our first fish and lost a hoss immediately after. 45 minutes before weigh in picked up for 2nd and 3rd fish. only problem was the size was off. did not feel like we had enough to even do any damage at the scales.

Once the dust finally settled, we had just enough to squeak 2nd place and pickup the sidepot for live release.

even though the striper did not cooperate, we had a very very busy day. kept 17 perch which is the most ive ever caught on the troll, AT LEAST 15 hybrids and enough bass to win a bass tourney. The downrigger with the A-rig was Hottt today.

Had a blast, and to walk away with a little cash was just an extra bonus. For those who didnt fish, yall missed a great event!
