    They got a LOT of rain upstream earlier this week, bet the river down there is rolling. Moma said over 5 inches in 24 hours at dekalb and the head of the Pearl river is not but 15 or so miles northwest of town as the crow flies.

    Madison side landing is underwater below the spillway. Got 2 more feet it's gonna rise. Heard 31 for a crest early next week. By late next week, it ought to be good.

    I'm going fishing today FINALLY. Heard a rumor about the lower lake at Sardis. 20 boats in there yesterday.
