Thread: Habitat Day on Bay Springs

The 2016 Bay Springs Lake Habitat Day will be Feb 13th, at the boat ramp inside Piney Grove Campground. We will start at 9:00 AM. We will be constructing and placing brush piles in the lake and doing a shoreline clean-up. We will provide the trees, blocks and lunch for all participants.
In the past, we have allowed people to bring trailers and take the trees to another ramp. Several people have asked about doing that this year. Some have even asked about taking the trees to a different lake. To make it fair for everyone and to insure that the trees are going into Bay Springs, DO NOT bring a trailer to get your trees. If you would like to get a trailer load of trees, you can contact the Tupelo city dump. They will let you get as many as you want.

Let me know if you plan to attend, so that we know how much food to buy. Please bring work gloves, boots and a life jacket. All volunteers are required to wear a life jacket while they are in a boat.
