Jimmy, I use 1,2, sometimes 3 of these. They are 1/4 ounce each. It depends on the current or how fast I am trolling. And they are re-usable. I buy only 1/32 and 1/16 jig heads and use 1/16 the most. I used 1 yesterday and place it 3-6 inches above the jig. Hey, works for me. LOL!!!

Nice box of fish, Brother Maxwell. Congratulations! Was that Black lake over at Campti? Looks like the water is at the top of the boat ramp. Was there a lot of current? My wife wants to know if you are up to cooking enough briskets to feed 100 ladies towards the last of April? Love me some brisket from Brother Maxwell.

That is Black Lake at Campti. Water is about 2 feet high according to a friend who lives there but its falling fast. That was at Dickson's Landing off of Cooley Loop. There was a little current, it was not bad at all. As for the Briskets, bring'em on. Just let me know the date.

What a beautiful place to fish. And beautiful fish to catch. Love those Cypress trees.

Great trip and pictures. Nothing wrong with a cane pole; I remember when that was all I had; was all Dad ever had.

Grew up using cane poles and still like to use them.
