    Default Never gets old

...watching that cork disappear that is dad called yesterday morning and said that his 54" LED light bar had come in that he ordered off amazon. He wanted something that he could mount to the boat to throw some light on some bobbers for some night fishing out of a new 16ft flatbottom boat that I received this past summer as payment for a tree job I did. So our curiosity was high to see what our new toy would do so we decided to take it to the lake and see how well it was going to work. We didn't have the time to mount it correctly so we just hooked it up to a fresh battery and went out playing. We hit the water about 8pm and instantly got into a few fish the wind was blowing pretty hard and the system was blowing through so it did leave us with a couple 10-20 minute windows of calm weather throughout the night. Ended up leaving around 2 a.m from the rain that was starting to pick up. Ended up with 16 keepers so we were more than tickled on the drive home. The light bar worked great , definitely will have no problem seeing them corks now wish I would have taken some pics for reference but I didn't think about it
And the new boat already got our millenium seats on there just got to get them both mounted upfront and then I guess it'll be time to break down and purchase some spider rigging equipment. Gotta give it a try anyway

The greatest way to catch crappie is the way that works on a given day. Whether it be vertical jigging, long lining, pulling or pushing cranks or spider rigging. In order to be a well rounded crappie fisherman you should try to be versatile in your approach to fishing. You will see greater days of success and the best method for catching crappie is the method you just caught a fish using. Try not to let yourself be influenced by the narrow minded opinions of other fisherman and be open minded to the style that you enjoy the most to catch crappie. After all its all about enjoying the overall experience. Great shot of the boat and good luck.

Crappie hunter you said it , I would like to become a more versatile crappue fisherman. When I started on this site if I couldn't catch it under a cork I wasn't catching with the exception of trolling on Greers ferry. Since joining this site I have learned a lot about tightlinning and took something that I've never done and became halfway successful at it anyway. Just like crank baits , at the beginning of the summer we broke down and purchased 500$ or more in just cranks alone bc we got out one day and caught crappie on Greers during the middle of the summer. Something I've never done and it was something that was easy for my gf or my mom or whoever to get out and enjoy the day with us .... and who knows it might turn into me wanting to do some caca fishing
