I have 2 led work lights from lowes mounted on the side one in the front and one in the back and i have one led spot light in the middle it's the same one you put in front of a truck very bright then i made a 4 foot 600 led underwater light that i sink just below the surface it is so bright you can't look at it all lights are on the same side of the boat i will use the underwater light till i start catching then I cut it off so i can bring the crappie closer all lights are 12 volt hope this helps

I like the upper lights - makes for easier movin around in boat in darkness -
the lower lights are Kool watt 125's, you can pick them just after turning off at
night and they won't burn you carpet on board- nor anything around them .
The upper lights are real hot............Never fish alone - over years have been
involved with recovey of missing persons involved with water at night.

I been night fishing since I was in my teens my dad created a monster he always fished at night and tore the fish up and you don't have to deal with all the idiots who have no respect for anyone on the water i fish alone if I can't get someone to go but if I am in a new lake i will putt around till I get to know the lake a little common sense goes a long way i have seen people in the Maitland chain running wide open with no lights numerous times could not believe it. Last year i was fishing a night bass tournament in Maitland chain and was running across the lake and all the sudden i saw a lighter right in front of me almost hit him after i cussed him all the way across the lake he still didn't put lights on unbelievable i could have killed him that is the only problem I have had since fishing at night
