    Default Biggest Crappie to date. Looks a little strange though.


    Well I went fishing Sunday. Striper fished all morning and did not get a bite so I broke out my bandit crankbaits and crappie rods with 6 lb line to do a little crappie fishing for supper. 2nd pass through a huge ball of shad and this hit. Fought him forever. I told the wife this was definitely my biggest crappie ever. lol. Caught 0 crappie, 1 striper, and 2 huge spotted bass while crappie fishing. Maybe I need to go catfishing if I want crappie for dinner.

    darn that by catch! I caught a 6.5lb green carp on my 7' fenwick UL this weekend #1 aberdeen and a minnow.. go figure

    One of the spots was probably 2.5 and the other was the biggest we have caught on Hickory. He was a little over 3.5 lbs. Big fat girl. I do love to striper fish, but am about ready for the crappie to start up.
