Thread: Grizzly Jig tackle show

Good times at Grizzly Jig. Good to see some of ya'll again and meet some of ya'll for the first time. Highlight of the trip for me was picking up the largest Styrofoam bobber I could find (maybe 3 inches in diameter) and carry it around. I was wondering how many fishermen would comment on it. The "catch" of the day was Wally Marshall who stopped, took it from my hand and said "This needs no wake zone 5 mph written on it" hahaha. The other semi-catch, was Steve Coleman. As he passed by, I asked him what he thought about using it for crappie and he said, and I quote directly, "hmmmmph". I said, I take it from your response that you don't think it would do very good, and he laughed. Of course, you don't get nothing on "G". He said those big Granada slabs would drag it under like it was a little float.
