Default Darbonne not for the faint of heart Saturday

Got up Saturday morning and headed out for my usual Saturday ritual. When I got to the ramp I found this (pic #1). See that last truck about a 1/4 of a mile away? That is the boat ramp. No problem, I knew there was a bass tournament this weekend, that deer season was over, and it was going to be a pretty day so I kind of expected this. So I got my exercise in that my wife has been bugging me about and made the long trek back to the boat. . I tried a couple of spots but couldn't keep my lines straight due to the 15 mph wind. No problem, I know of a spot where I can get out of that sw wind (pic #2). Evidently I'm not the only one who thought about this spot. So I take off to another spot where the wind is blocked. Now we are talking!! Only one other boat and there was some big uns there (pic #3). It looks like this lady got in a fight over a man. I've never caught one with a bump on their jaw. Ended up with 15 in the box and caught about 20. Still in 20 - 24 fow fishing 15-18 fd and caught em on devils grin, popsicle, and bayou booger. I love it when a plan comes together!! Persistence pays.
