Haven't had my boat in the water since the fruit jar back in early November and finally got out today. Didn't start until around 10 and had to look a while before I found any but eventually got on a couple big wads of fish. The biggest part of them were short but wound up with 13 keepers when I had to quit at 330. The better fish were hiding somewhere else though, all the keepers were 10.25-11". Nice to finally get back out.

Good catch Austin! I went yesterday for a couple of hours, awful windy but caught 15, had 6 keepers. They hit green and chartreuse jigs good.

    Nice catch Pab!
If people concentrated on the really important things in life, there'd be a shortage of fishing poles.

The fish were really aggressive once I found some. I went thru a whole tall jar of crappie nibbles and really couldn't guess how many short crappie I caught along with a slew of yellows, largemouth, and bluegill. Wish I could have stayed until dark.

I had 43-44 degrees in the area I found fish, first area I tried was 41-42 degrees.

Nice fish Austin. I think you found a clue. I have been looking around and finding fish in warmer water. They ready for spring!
