Man what a day on Norman.
last minute had a friend join me and made it worth his time. took a few hours to get them located and dialed in. I can say that today was the first time in about 5 years on Norman that i went through a school and had all 8 rods go off with fish on them. 6 made it to the boat 1 got off, and 1 got snagged by a yahoo that decided to cast his line behind my boat. no worries.
the pic below is the birds slamming the water just moments before the 8 rods went off.
at noon30 i went to one of my crappie spots to catch a few for dinner. worked out as planned.
final tally for today was approx 20 striper/hybrids and the pile of crappie.
this is when the yahoos moved in once they saw rods bouncing in every direction. could not troll anymore and have to move on.

Way to go Pete! Glad you had a good day, sorry to hear about the yahoos. That would have ticked me off! Live bait or u-rigs? Thanks for the report and pics.
Good job. Most of those Crappie look so "tiny" compared to those striper. I do see a couple in there that look to be nice size.
Nice mess of fish there Pete!

Nice mess of fish!!!!
Pete I'm sorry but I'm lost, A-rig? Did I see on one thread that you make some or am I wrong? If so can you give me a price. Thanks
That is correct. Have a few more believers in trolling them vs u-rigs.
I have a fresh batch i made before leaving town yesterday. 14 made, 4 on hold, need to replace some of my "stash". Have 6 available. $15 each. Make them in chartreuse and threadfin shad. I am back in town Monday night and will be fishing hard Tuesday - Sunday.
Why are mine better then the store bought ones that are sold at the fancy bass pros and such? Its all in the swivels. I dont believe in the cheap eagle claw swivels that break very easily.
If you or anyone is interested, shoot me a pm!
Thx.
