    What are some good flys for bluegill?

    Almost any standard trout nymph will take bluegill, but I wouldn't go below a #14. Small poppers and spiders are good topwater flies.

    Good nymphs:

    Prince nymph
    Pheasant tail
    Gold-ribbed hair's ear

    Woolly bugger is great, too, but it's a streamer.

    I like all of the above with a "bead head".

    Sizes? #8-14.
