Thread: A true story, no names other than mine to protect the innocent

Sorry for the bad experience. Keep that good perspective. Life's a journey and we're just passing thru.

A long time back I was told by someone a lot smarter than me this saying about friends: Some come for a reason, some come for a season, and some come for life. I have had to turn away from some for different reasons and a few of those losses were not easy to take and put behind me. And in turn, some folks have turned their back on me for no apparent reason. Some still puzzle me. All I have found from this is to be the best person I know how to be and focus on what's ahead and who chooses to be alongside of me. When you cut to the chase, God is first, Family is second, and everyone and everything else comes after that. This helps me to focus on what matters sometimes.

Sorry about the loss of the friendship. Good friends are hard to come by.

It's sad to say but some people are only happy when there mad about something.

Reaper don't feel bad I have had many people who I thought were friend get upset over the same thing. Either you are catching fish and bring someone for company that already fishes the same waters or you travel to fish with friends or family and don't stop by there house at the lake to visit. In the end they are mad and hold hatred in, call ya names behind your back but that's okay. Just step up and continue to be yourself. People feel that they own the lakes they fish and that is a shame. I have had one person even say I have fished out Sardis lake on the forums lol. It's all good in my book and I hold no hatred towards the fellow .com folks. Life is too short to hold hatred and be unhappy.
