Just started here in SW Ohio. We've got a good 1/16" but it's enough to paralyze the area. I guess when it's all said and done we could have 5-10".
I hope it's as little as possible. We had a good solid jig bite last week ...still no ice thank God. I guess I'm going to have to shovel the driveway in hopes of maybe going out on next week if we can get the boat out and the launch ramp is clear.

I think we probably have 6-8 inches but serious drifting with the wind. I think I'm going to go to the shop and paint crankbaits for several hours. Pot of coffee, Sirius Radio and Camo The Killer Cat. Recipe for getting a bunch done with zero interruptions.

KUDOS to the Highway Departments in our area, especially the Marshall County Road Dept. Vicki and I went out to check on my parents this AM(Her parents are in Florida). The county roads had all been scraped and salted and were in great shape. The secondary state roads not so well but still driveable.

Thanks to all those who have sacrificed so much thru this storm.

I got down my driveway in my 4 wheel drive tractor but almost did not make it all the way back up. I got to the steepest part and the JD started crabbing sideways. Took a couple of tries to get it back to the top of the hill. I am going to have to get chains for that porker.

I just got a text from my buddy Chris in PA. They are under a state of emergency. He has 29 inches at his house right now and still snowing with high winds. I wouldn't wish that on anybody.

And now the reports & pics/videos are showing up online ... where several marinas at Cumberland Lake & Green River Lake have dock roofs collapsed from the weight of the snow. Much damage to the docks & boats moored under those docks ... !!

All I've had to do is scrape off a foot of snow from my boat cover, over the last couple of days ... and replace a section of the plastic support pole that holds my cover up.

    ... cp
