Default Good half day at Monroe

Eileen and I caught some real nice fish today at Monroe. We got on the water very late, we were stuck in traffic for over 1.5 hours. Everything came on curly tail jigs, no special colors. I fished the channel most of the time in and out of 12' of water. We did try some of our spots we like but not much happening. There was a bass turnery today so there were lots of boats. Oh well back to my home lake when ever the weather permits.

I have a good picture of Russ with two full grown slabs but cant figure out how to post it.

I think I saw you two today Vic, if you were near the I-4 bridge. I was hoping someone I knew was enjoying the beautiful day and good conditions.

Yes we were by that bridge around 1:30. You should have stopped and said hello.

Vic, I would have been a celebrity by stopping traffic on the exit ramp that loops around on the south side of the bridge. Glad you had a good day.
