    Default Need Yore Help

Soon, all my appointments, Dove, Deer, and Duck season will be over and it will be time to fire up the War Eagle and try and catch some Specs and such. I must feed the family!

Now for the help. I want to catch a few Specs to filet BUT I also want to get into dem aggravating White/Hybrid/Striper(s). If you fish an area where you catch a few specs but leave because of the striped fish, please PM me the area. Me and my partner love to eat the stripes and my partner's wife would rather have them than anything.

    Thanks for this help........

Hybrids and stripers have been doing pretty good on Oconee. So good at times that they were a nusience when trying to fish for crappie

I to enjoy eating stripers and hybrids, especially grilled. I usually keep a few every trip... The hybrids/stripes were on a rampage last trip to Oconee. Barletts Ferry is another good lake right now for these fish. Last trip to Barletts...

5800 acres...I usually launch on the Alabama side at Halawakee Landing, but there is a ramp on the Ga. side up lake by the Ga. Power campground and a real nice one (po-boys) down by the dam on the Alabama side. Best creek right now is Halawakee for stripes and hybrids.
