Thread: Good day at lacygne 1 16 16

Got there at 630. One boat ready to launch and one pulled in behind me. Launched and off to the spot. Almost 2 hours no fish. Then they slowly started to hit.

Then around 10 to 11am it was game on with a lot of keepers being caught. Got close to limit so started throwing 10s back.

Other guys around me were catching but not as much. Invited one guy over to my boat to let him fish my spot and let him try my loomis rod. He started catching a lot of nice sized ones also. He prob got 15 to 20 keepers and i decided it was time to go check out a diff area.

Overall it was a nice day. It hit on white chart earlier in thr morning then it started hitting orange chart as the day went on.

Glad to catch a nice amount of fish and also be able to let someone else catch some fish in the "hot spot"

At the dam. Had a chance to go out there for a little after work on monday at 330 to 530. Wasnt as lucky. Got 2 or 3 keepers and more shorts. The bite was not as good. Felt like you'd just roll the jigs over the fish and most wouldn't take it.

Maybe that cold front shut them off a bit. At 4pm there wasnt a single boat there.
