    Default crappie mounts


    o.k. im new on here joined the end of December,was just wondering.ive never really seen any true great looking crappie mounts that really do the fish justice.they have all those beautiful colours going on.anbody got some realy good looking mounts and who mounted it

    welcome jvar to CDC i had one mounted for my grand son that was 18 years ago but don`t know if he is still in business . there is a taxidermist in Cordele Ga . don`t know anything about his work .never caught one big enough to mount .ragflyjigman knows hem .
    retired and now i will always fish

    That's a great question. As I too have never seen a great crappie mount. I have a LM bass that is amazing but he is out of business. Interested to see what people say about this subject

    I would think the beautiful colors that crappie have in the spring could be painted back on during the process but it would have to be a talented artist and it would cost some money. That would take time and time is money. It would be a beautiful mount with the spawning colors. It does seem like I have seen some trout mounted and they had their pretty colors still even after being mounted. Trout are some pretty fish.
