I think they are messing with you because of the company you keep while fishing, just sayin.

January 4th I go to Army Corp Office at Truman dam, gonna buy me a annual pass. Lady says we don't have them yet, what should I do? Just get the daily's. so yesterday was back down that way and thought I would call on way down. Yes we do have them, oh and by the way they did go up to $40.00 this year (33%) increase. I say well I was there on the 4th and was told you did not have them, I have bought 4 day passes since then, are they to be credited to the cost. Oh no can't do that.
I do know that the corp pay ramps at some OK lakes do not charge Dec-Feb or something similar. Has anybody ever gotten a ticket or fine for not having one? What was the cost? I was told by one person they just made him buy a yearly pass.

Team Double D - " We're not famous, but we should be."
A couple of years ago I had my daily pass slip fall off my rear view mirror while I was fishing and when I got back to the truck I had a $75 dollar ticket under my wiper blade.
The person at the guard shack called the person who put it there and got it straightened out, he should of checked the pay box before he wrote the ticket!!
Raising to $40 is a bunch of crap.
I was at the Windsor Crossing ramp the other day and two kids came down and pushed the ramp farther down into the water, then they went through the flooded camp ground and got stuck. Lol I unhooked the boat trailer and went and pulled them out.
I should send Corps a tow bill. Lol
Good to see your back at it. I hope to get over to Ok. soon and try out some of the fishing there.
Usage fees are just another way to raise taxes on the common folk, I don't like them one bit.
