    I am a fan of 2D .....I run a split screen 2D DI side by side all the time ....
    the 2D says the same thing as the DI and is WAY easier to use and understand ...

    Not ME ... I'd used 2d units since back in the early 1970's, until a few years ago when I bought a DI unit from one of our members. I ain't goin' back

    The 2d sonar is showing what is in the cooler.

    The side imaging is showing what I built in the yard and dropped in the lake.
