    Default Bundicks today 1-9-16

Well I about talked myself out of going this morning with all the rains we had last night, and all the water rising everywhere, crappie don't bite on rising water, surely the fish wouldn't be biting today, would they? And the wind! The wind was going to be terrible! Well after I got up (twice!) I decided that I would be mad at myself if I just slept in and didn't at least give it a try. So left about an hour later than I wanted to but I went! Got on the water about 7:45 and started catching right away! Of course they were 4 and 5 inch fish! Did manage to catch a few before I got blown off the lake at noon!
Here is me with 2 of the better ones.

And the rest of my catch. I had 2 that were about 9 & 1/2" and the rest were over 10" with the biggest going 1.1 lbs. Worth the trip to me. Gave them to my brother so they could have some fresh fish b/c I still had some in my freezer from Larto. Caught at least double this in small 4 to 5 inch fish. I think Bundicks is only going to get better from this point on.

Forgot to mention that I was fishing in 18 to 20 fow, fishing about 16-18 feet deep. Also didn't seem to like any one color better than the other although I did catch 2 nice keepers on the bundicks special jig that pastor had tied for me! Thanks again Pastor!
