    Default tickfaw 12-7 report

Hit a few spots this morning. Fishing was slow, but we managed a few keepers. Water was the lowest it's been in a while. Was a beautiful day for fishing. We fished pumpkin/chart sliders on docks south of hwy 22.

Nice, I've spent a lot of time in that area fishing but not for perch. I would love to try them in blood, blind, amite river. I like the water color there.

Any idea why the Blood River is almost always a different color (usually black) from the adjacent Tickfaw and Natalbany Rivers?

Because it drains mostly swamp. The Tic and Nat drain a much larger area and have gravel/dirt pits on the upper ends

Swade, in about 12ft. Docks around kings point. Look on youtube for shooting docks videos. It works!

Andrew, I fish the blood river, tickfaw, and tchefuncte. I see all those docks you have up there. Must be a wonderland! They have any campgrounds around there? I might have to make a trip.
