Thread: HD 1/8 and Douglas SFL 1/2 Reports

I was blessed with a limit yesterday on HD. All deep inside the brush in 19-21 fow. Had to be in the thick of it to get bit. All came by the way of blk/chart baby shad and an ice jig. Ice jig produced a ton of bites, but the plastics yielded better quality. Slow morning, but bite picked up as the day went on.

Douglas SFL: Buddy and I caught a mixed bag of 23 black and white specks in brush in 12-16 fow on blk/chart, red/chart, and blue/chart tube jigs. Morning bite was good, but slowed down to a snail's pace at noon. All in all, a good way to kick off the year.
