    Default NEELY HENRY REPORT

I fished Neely Henry today from 9:30 till 2:30 and caught 28 crappie. Half were caught casting jigs and reeling them in real slow just off the bottom and the rest were caught spider rigging with baits just off the bottom. Water temps were 45.6-46.4 Fish were laying right on the bottom in creek channel 10-12 feet deep. Largest fish were 1.76 lbs. and 1.83 lbs.Name: 160108_001.jpg

Hey CrappieFlopper, I launched at the ramp at Canoe Creek. I hate the way its made but only place I found that would work for me.

Good report on Neely Henry lake. I have always wanted to crappie fish over there but just never got to it. I have fished a bunch of bass tournaments on Neely and won some money, so I really like it.

Is the water still up there? I assumed that is why you put in at Canoe. I doubt I ever get back to that lake again, but I can dream.

The water in Gadsden has been real high but the lower end has been about 6 feet low. It is starting to get back to normal now.

Way to go Roger, that's a good looking mess with some real nice slabs there.
