for you guys up north
we keep a little hot plate in a toaster oven in my shop because sometimes it's too cold to shoot my molds I will warm them up on top of the little hotplate or put them inside my toaster oven it helps a lot on cold mornings until I get the shop warmed up to about 75° than it takes quite a while before the molds actually heat up in the shop so I like to keep things warmed up just as long as you get them warm enough so you can touch them with your hands do not overheat them. all trying to look up an old old post I made on a while back on core shot usually I get chewed out by the monitors for bringing these old post back out but there is a lot of information in them were you guys just starting out you may want to read some of the old post there's lots of information buried back a few years you can go back and see where I actually started in plastic it's very interesting to watch the different processes through the years.
