Those are perty!
And I'm fine if everyone else is obsessed with bass fishing (as I once was), just makes it easier for me to get in them gills and crappies thick!

sum kawl me tha outlaw ketchn whales
That huge gill would be a neat experience to get to the boat.
I must be one of the few that am not looking forward to high profile recognition of bluegill fishing. Large purse tourneys like the bass crowd has ,complete with lie detectors at the weigh in doesn't give me a warm and fuzzy feeling. Should be good for people peddling goods though.
I'm with you OG - "keep it low and slow"
Watched 7 bass boats pound one area yesterday. Doing circles around each other. I don't get it and glad I don't.......
Funny you mention that. Before all the flooding I was catching a lot of Spotted bass and Smallies. I pulled into a big cove....dropped trolling motor and proceeded to work the cove for several hours without ever cranking big motor except when time to leave. I watched a bunch of bass boats come in....fish for 10 minutes...then head somewhere else. I was catching what they were after....Kentucky bass and Smallies. They weren't catching because of two things.....they did not take the time to fish.....they most likely don't have an UL rod on board to downsize and throw what those fish were wanting....micro baits. Anyone who doesn't enjoy catching 16-18 inch Spots and 18 inch Smallies on 2# test, UL rod...well I don't understand it....but I am a firm believer....each to their own.
Regards
Too much emphasis on being top dog.
"but I am a firm believer....each to their own." X 3
Would rather hook up & break off then never hook up at all
