Tough day catching for sure. But a great day fishing in early January with sunshine and very little wind. Nice seeing you again

We went out from 11 to 3. Bite was very tough. Water temp was 38 dergees and Kansas clear. We caught around 9 or 10 over wood in 13 to 19 feet deep water on the east side; kept 4 but don't ask shortdraw how big they were. Ragnar gave us 4 and another boat gave us 4 so I could have a mess. Talked to guys who fished west side and nota over there.

I was out there Sunday afternoon mainly fishing brush. Several areas you could see a school of fish come and go from the depth finder. Seemed like the schools of fish were dinks and the bigger fish were out of the schools. All fish came from 14-18 feet deep. We caught over 30 fish, and brought a dozen home that were over 11in.
