If you can get a map of Monroe there is a chanel that runs from marker 8 to the old power plant. Longline, spiderrig or bumptroll minnows along that, the actual river chanel or in front of Stone Island. Look for the pack of boats and kinda look around those 3 areas at different depths. Look for signs of activity, if you find baitfish they wont be far away unless they have moved shallow to spawn. If you see me post I am going to Monroe and can meet at ramp I would show ya round a bit and show ya what I do and can follow in your boat or go wherever ya want. If you are at all interested in longlining there is a sticky at top of South Carolina page on it that is packed with great info. And welcome to the forum.

Love me some brine as well. Just nice to fish 10 minutes from home, catch plenty to eat, have a blast on light tackle and not have the long cleaning regimen after hitting the lagoon. Plus ya need a masters in quantum physics to figure out all the regs.anymore.

Nuttin wrong with that. Just like to know what I am looking for. You willl find them crappie bite best between .3 & 1.5 so I think ya got plenty there at 32 and I cant peel much more than that outta mine either.
