Default Report on Lake D'Arbonne 1/2/2016

Josh and I fished Lake D'Arbonne today. Fished at Terral Island, on the edge of the Channel 20 FOW fishing 12-14 feet deep. We caught 8 and kept 6. Smallest weighed 1 pound and the largest weighed 1 pound 9 ounces. Largest one was 14 inches long. Sent a pic to Momma and she said, "I'll get the grease ready"! There ain't nothing like fresh Crappie right out of cold water! Here's some pics:

I fish 7 days a week; some days for fish, everyday for men.

Yes, there is some current down that way. When your by a Channel Marker you can really see it moving. Water is very muddy.

Ya'll fishing jigs, shiners, or crankbaits. Just wondering. Trying to decide where to go Monday. Thinking either D'Arbonne or Claiborne.
