    7:15 am.......

    Beautiful morning -somewhat clear skies,
    wind out of se about 2-3 mph, little ripple.
    John Peyton & I headed to ne end using
    Johns boat today.

    Water temp. 75.2 - air 73.4 stopped in 10
    fow - set up rods, mostly all dropped barametric pressure 30:21, jigged,
    with myler & moon jigs - various colors -
    red - hot pink - bronze - blue - orange,
    all minnow tipped. Usual multi depth level,
    before start to move took 2 spec's in the 12-13oz range.

    Speed run in .6 -.9 mph within 1/2 mil
    had taken 14 fish multi sizes, no keepers

    Worked down east side towards pierce
    point. 9am wind had picked up somewhat
    was now around 5 -8 mph sse flow.
    Bara pressure 30.22 climbing -

    10:00am world changed, wind picked up and was gusting 10.4 mph se, gusts to
    17.5 mph.

    by noon wind was 13.8, gusting to 18.4
    mph , southeast. bite had almost
    totally quit.
    Broke out the chain - 2 - 9 ft sections.
    turn boat with wind and started first
    pass north. 3/4 mile run.
    Took 7 fish - no keepers.
    On second run, slowed boat even more to
    .6 mph took 12 fish - 5 keepers.
    barametric pressure dropping like a rock,
    by 1pm - 30:12 - wind pounding at
    12.5 mph, gusting to 21.4 mph.
    We pulled plug at 2pm....
    keep 17 fish - biggest fish 1 lb 14.3 oz.
    Day was educational lessons - what &
    how to handle situaions in tournament
    conditions.

    Always a great informational report from you Harold, thanks for sharing.

    The wind keeps me and my little tin boat, on smaller waters, closer to home.

    Is John a guide? Name sounds familiar?

    Marv - you are correct - John is a guide - also member of FCC as well as several people

    Great report Harold. Always quality stuff and always thanks for taking the time. GOTTA find the gumption to get myself out there! Darn job is completely cramping my life........for now. Good looking fish.

    Note to self: Bucket list: Get out with Harold one day this year We could chew some serious fat my friend lol
