    Default Harney this morning...

Got out real early trying to beat the heat and wind, water temp was 74* which is crazy for this time of year. Started catching fish right off the bat and pretty much thru out the day, the only problem they were basically all dinks. Did catch like 3 over 11" with one at 14.5" but most were much less then that. I did hang into one hog, at least that's what I first thought, but with a heavy pull and not much movement I realized it wasn't what I was hoping, If anyone recognizes it let me know. Not many fish worth taking pics of, so I shot a coupe of my fishing partner, as you can see he even gave up waiting for the big ones.

Good looking fishing partner ya got there. Like the jacket. I gotta keep that rascal of mine on a leash in the boat or he will go fer a swim. He thinks he has to chase everything, bug, bird, weed, stick, it dont matter.

Do most people start fishing the lake as soon as they get out of the river or are there any specific points to start a drift?
