Thread: Food for Larto gathering?

I got a BIG pot and a fryer its not a fancy one like RMgeorge has but it will put some fish out for sure. I can bring it and the oil for it i also can bring some of my wife's Rum cakes im also in for the plastic Forks and knives and spoons Ill also help clean , and if my luck is going good CATCH the fish for Friday night ill watch this post to see what else is needed and if i can i will add to my list

I stuck it.......

Shadow - fish / shrimp for Friday and Pulled pork for Saturday
Cyberwolf - Pot and fryer and oil, Rum cakes, forks, knifes, spoons

I plan on bringing my fish fryer. It is a four gallon and has two baskets and does a good job.
I will bring some French fries and ketchup and other stuff.
I have not given much thought to Saturday night but will come up with something and post it later (in other words I have to see what Donna wants to cook)

1. Shadow - Fish / Shrimp for Friday & Pulled pork for Saturday
2. Cyberwolf - Big pot and fryer, oil, rum cakes & eating utensils
3. Deacon - Fryer, french fries, ketchup & what ever Donna feels like cooking.

We could also use some paper plates and paper towels if someone wants to bring something and doesn't know what they can bring.

Remember there is only one small store here that sometimes opens late and closes early so make sure to bring what you need.

Anyone else coming? You don't have to bring anything as this will be a small gathering. We will eat what we have until it is gone! lol Can't wait to get up there!

Probably will not need my fryer also with deacon bringing his big one so ill pitch in on Saturday nights meal i can bring a pot of beans or a tater salad to go with the pulled pork you have dwyane , or something else it don"t matter to me i will be there EARLY THURSDAY morning (day break) to start fishing then set up my camp spot around noon Im so ready to get on the water also

Sounds good cyberwolf! I will be up there Wednesday afternoon, good Lord willing and the creek don't rise! I am in cabin #5 so just get set up whenever you want. I will try to make an afternoon trip Wednesday, depending on when I get up there. But I will be ready first thing in the morning Thursday for sure. Can't wait! My wife loves tater salad so that sounds good!
