    Default 12-26. Lake bouef area

Fished the bouef area with my nephews and everyone else who owned a boat. To be expected as day after Christmas is probably the biggest outdoor day of year. Add in high winds to keep people from saltwater fishing and high heat to keep people from hunting meant everyone was sac fishing
A slow but steady day. Good bite early then one hear and there rest of time. We ended up keeping 32. And pretty nice quality for the area The crazy part is at least 2/3 came off cypress and gum trees mostly males up building next and spawn things. I have the say that's the first time I have caught spawn related fish in dec. was crazy but guess not unexpected with the weather Name: image.jpg

Great report SS. I though about going there today but have too many other things to do. My next chance will be after the cold front passes later this week.

Nice haul. Had been seeing reports on Fishbrain from there and had noticed the fish starting to put on their suits.
