    Default Fishing stuff for Christmas

Well let's hear from you folks. What interesting item did you get for the boat to make it complete. I will go first as I did not get anything. I have been sick the last week and not been in the mood. Plus my tracker boat want start. Not getting any fire at the plugs so that means the stator probably died. If I feel better tomorrow I am planning on checking to see if I can fix it or does it have to go to the shop. It all depends if my flywheel puller will fit or not. Merry Christmas. Don

I went to the garage and was cleaning out stuff because I needed a break from our foster kids and found an antique plug knocker that my grandfather had in his fishing stuff. I got all his fishing stuff when he passed away a couple of years ago. He was my hero (paratrooper spent winter in Bastonge) and taught me how to crappie fish brush piles. I have countless memories with him. This was a solid brass/copper knocker. It was like it was meant to be.

Don I hate to hear you have been sick and I hope you begin to feel better. I didn't get any gear or tackle in hand but did get gift cards They never know what I already have so they don't even try anymore to buy me anything for fishing.

Brett, a plug knocker is used to slide down your line to "knock" crankbaits/plugs loose for a snag.

I got a couple sets of horizontal rod holder for the boat so I don't have rod laying on the floor, a new winch for the trailer, a water separator and some gift cards. A great haul.
Rod holders installed. I'm ready for the water to clear up and head out

Got zero fishing stuff but I did have a house full of rip roaring kids, plenty of rib eyes on the grill and lots of love to share. I got a rain suit which I needed for work that's all I ask for and the family to be happy and healthy. Don, I hope you get well soon and the boat ready to float. I hope everyone had a great Christmas.

Oh! the wife got a Kimber 380 She's happy too!
