Wow, over that lake that's a huge amount of water, wonder how many cubic feet of water that is?

Me and the old dog walked down to the dock about noon. According to my calibrated stump, the water level is almost 2 1/2 feet higher than it was Tuesday. That's a LOT of water in three days.

A bunch I bet !
I changed my plans to take my grandson camping after Christmas in Broadwater at Santee when it appeared it would be underwater. I reserved one of the state park cabins that sit on the docks out over the water instead.
After the last 4 days of rain, my wife suggested I check with the park to see if the cabins are now underwater. We've gotten over 4" at my house since Sunday.

Murray is up about six more inches this evening. My calibrated stump is underwater. It's about the same as it was in October when we had the "1000 year" rains. My cove is muddy and there are enough trees floating around to build a house!
Ray, With so much water this year and the swamp has been flooded almost all the time since Oct. I think I'm going to put off fishing and camping in Broadwater until about May or June, maybe it'll be back to normal by then. :-(

Let me know when you plan that trip. If I can work it out I'd like to drop in.
