    Every thing I sink is over kill on weight they are heavy like 4 sacks of concrete in each half drum. I do sink bamboo I have a trailer load now to sink. I'm trying to put a good mixture of everything. I have know idea what works best

    My hobby use to be hunting, I put in the time to kill big deer and I did. I lost interest and now I'm in to these perch. I want to catch big ones and I will. Not bragging I'm just saying that this is my passion now. And St. John is my back yard so why not, I like taking catching these fish going straight to the grease with them

    catchin is great.....but eatin ain't too shabby either.....if I catch just one fish, I will bring it home for the wife....she loves them pan fried in a little coconut oil....

    I got a buddy who farms cotton and one of his suppliers gave me 5 gallons of cotton seed oil I'm ready to try it

    I ended up putting 8 huge trees out this week. I only get my buddies that have very little interest in fishing to help me, they said don't ever call them again to help lol. Man it's a lot of work I hope they pay off. I've got a 14' john boat I'm building to sink now, I think I'm going to fill the bottom with oyster shells and sand. Pvc, pecan limbs, c trees, for the structure. I'll post pics as I work on it.

    A assume you have structure like that in the fish house as well?
