I was going to wait for a show but I found the boat I want with everything one it - a 2015. I have had 3 dealers price this boat and this dealer is well below the others and it includes upgrades for the trailer wheels, spare, dash fish finder and MinnKota motor. Pretty happy with the price compared to the other boats I looked. This has been a tough decision so I want to get it right the first time without killing the bank.

195 is a very decent rig, most likely has a 90 or 115 merc 4 stroke, both decent power plants. Several Lowe dealers in the state and Eastern Kansas, my suggestion is pick one willing to make an on-water delivery check ride for you, gets you better prepared to get the most out of a new ride. Good Luck.

The Lets Go Fishing Show in Collinsville IL Jan 8,9,10. Not a real big boat show but at least all the boats on display are fishing boats.

From just the looks the new Lund bass boat they are introducing blows everything out of the water for aluminium boats....but the price blows me out of the water. I'm deciding between a Tracker 195 and Crestliner VT 18. If I had the money to burn the Lund and Xpress would be on my list but I'm just a poor working man....It's different strokes for different folks but some nit picky things is I don't like boats that push the console all the way to the gunnel. I like to slide long rods down gunnel like the boat I have now. Also want the whole bench seat to flip up for storage and not just the individual seats. I was stuck on the Ranger RT 188 but the side compartments do not stretch to the bow. The Crestliner pretty much has three rod lockers, but I'm partial to Tracker from owning one. They ride very nice, and I'm sure the new 195 would take big water like a boss. Also had some NON-warranty work done on my Tracker boat at the their plant FOR FREE....that's big!!!! Bottom line is the aluminium boat market is so competitive you really cant go wrong, it just comes down to personal preference.
