Been lurking here for a while and figured this would be a good first post.
Made a last minute trip to the camp yesterday afternoon and got a couple hours fishing in yesterday and about 5 hours in today. Same spot both days, didn't move more than 10'. They were all in 8'-10' of water fishing about 7' deep under a cork with shiners and Bobby Garland Slab Masters Monkey Milk.
Ended up with 54 Sacalait, none were small all keeper to 1 1/2 Lbs. Picked up 30 catfish but threw the really big ones back.
Glad to be here and the only thing better than reading y'alls reports is being able to report mine.
Real nice.

Welcome to the forum. You sure know how to make a splash into the forum. Congratulations! That is more fish than I have caught all year. LOL.
The Lord is good. His mercy and love endures forever.
We just got lucky. This was a spot that we usually set our noodles out for catfish and then move on down the river to fish. I have caught one or two bass or sacalait here and there in this spot but nothing like what we did this weekend. It was a blast.
prefers shiners LIKED above post
Great catch........welcome to c.c
