Started out with a pretty sunrisetoo windy for my likings so spun around and headed north. Started fishing south end of goat island and found some in this type setting wanting to play
ended at 9:45 when I couldnt stand the wind no more. Caught 11 and held 3 captive but ended up lettin em go fer nother day.

I'd say you done GOOD, my friend, especially after that front!
Thanks for sharing.
What time is it?IT'S CRAPPIE TIME!
That's my thought too. That front had all the makings of a hard one for us and I thought the bite would be off. I thought of you as I wound through the traffic. Glad you stayed in the river, I don't think the lakes would have been much fun.
Creativity is just intelligence fooling around
Only get so many days to fish. Had to give her a go. Whitecaps at 6:45 are not good. Had fun on the river but was wore slap out fightin the wind. No where to hide with those high wind speeds. Pink/chartreuse chicken feet grubs was what they preferred. Nothing I could find on open wood. They was deep under the dollar weeds by lillies or wood right on bottom.
Mike,I would like to find a spot like that. You are in.
Awesome post! Impressed you went out and caught em anyway. Thx for sharing.
