    Default Maiden voyage

Ok guys, will have all my equipment in and setup. Going out on my maiden voyage of rigging in my own boat Saturday. Where should I go?? Not concerned about a bunch of bigguns, just get bites to learn my setup. Also I'm setup for double jigs. No minnows right now.

You can look at my last report from brewer, agree with basscat. Wouldn't waste time on nimrod as its high and muddy IMO. Overcup would be another good option but I haven't fished there in a good while. I am thinking of places not flooded out. Conway has been slo for me. Good luck

Been wearing them out on pond Z but you don't need a boat.

Overcup is still bad high..... Doesn't mean the fish wont bite, but it could nearly be mistaken for a ski lake right now.

Well went to brewer today, all equipment worked great, the spyderloks are awesome, as well as southern crappie rods, BUT the fishing sucked. Caught black bass and 1 crappie about 30 ft deep. I AIN'T GOOD ENOUGH TO BE FISHIN THAT DEEP. Fished bout 15 piles- nothing. SO we are going to nimrod tomm even against advisement. Anything is better then today.
