    Default Darbonne 12/16

Had originally planned on going to poverty today bit after waiting out an hr long toad soaker and watching the radar we decided driving west to darbonne gave us the best chance to avoid the storms passing through. Stayed dry for the most part up till rain set in the last half hour we fished.

Fishing was slow today, no suprise there... Heard they were biting yesterday, imagine that. Story of my life...

Caught fish on edge of channel 18 ft deep. Seemed to be best if you were close to structure.

Most fish came on shiners or lights out slab slayer on pank head.

I tried the bayou yesterday at Holland Bluff. The water is up pretty high but it's clear and no current. Caught 2 white perch (one a 2 lber.) and about a 4 lb. gou. Only saw one other person fishing.
