Capt.C........Life's short. Be a friend. Eat good. Have fun and fish hard!
That is a nice crappie, you dont catch them like that every day! That fish should be over 3 lbs, if its 18 inches long. A wall hanger for sure! Some people fish there whole like for a fish that big, and some never catch one that big.
Welcome from Liberty
nice fish for sure!
Get the net!
I caught it on a a-rig with swim shads 3.5 inches. Did not fill right to consider it a real crappie catch. When I fish for crappie I normally jig with light line. The trolling gear was a little bit overkill but he still put up a great fight on striper gear.
That is a Mega Crappie. Welcome from Stokesdale.
Rick
Nice one
Great crappie. Never had crappie hit my a-rigs, but the white perch sure will jump on them.
White perch do jump all over them. I use Chamberlain release's that you dial in for light hits on the downrigger and not drag them around all day
