Great day on Weiss
Went out sat. morning just to run the boat a little. Thought fishing would be tough due to muddy water. Tried a little cove off the main river and man were the stacked in there. Caught a lot of fish and kept 30 slabs. Those that I kept were all 11 to14 inch fish. Bobby Garlands in Monkey milk and blue ice were the best colors.

Have not fished this fall until last sat. Football takes up most of my time aug. into nov. My mom got right before Thanksgiving and she went to be with the Lord on Dec. 4th. Leaving tomorrow going to Louisiana trout and red fishing. Taking my Dad. He and momma had been married almost 63 yrs. and it has been very hard on him. Thought I'd get him away for a few days. Yes they have pulled the bottom out of Weiss. it should settle down some this weekend. Fishing should get real good over the next few weeks baring a lot more rain
