am I right about this sonar image? top screen is chirp sonar image and bottom image is the downvision sonar. This amazing image was captured by my new Raymarine dragonfly 7 fish finder/GPS combo.

no, didn't see those 2 turtles but did see a lot of them on the shore sun bathing. The spot is well known by local carp fishermen. They fish for them from the shore with corns. I do not believe it to be a catfish because of the image shape especially the triangular tail shape. It could not be a stripe bass either because it is not the season for stripe bass to linger in four mile run river.

Once again your deductions are very plausible ...especially with the surrounding clues you verified ...
The only way to be 100% positive with Sonar is to actually see the target in the beam coverage ...
