    Smile Greenwood Friday


    Met Ward this morning at my house at 6am and we loaded up and headed to the lake. After a stop at Charlie Bs for a good breakfast we headed to the lake. After launching we headed out and started pulling. We never had a good crappie bite but wound up with 6 crappie, 12 eating perch and 2 stripers. We pulled all around the river split and up the Reedy to the bridge but never could get into biting fish. Best color tail was a Charley slider called funky monkey. Lake is real low. Weather was overcast and windy most of the day. I want to thank Ward for joining me and I really enjoyed the company and hope we can do it again soon. Don

    Glad you guys caught a few. Harry and I went back to the same spot on Murray that Remus and I caught a pile of perch last Friday and caught 3 perch and one crappie!v

    My guide for the day.......my friend for life! Don, I had a great time. If we had only caught half of the ones that we talked about we would have had to get help to load the boat. Looking forward to our next outing.

    Oh yea Ward I went by to see your other friend name Don this morning but Ronnie was the only one at the shop. Which he was fixing to leave to go to his granddaughters graduation.
